Our Mission

OUR MISSION on green vine
Through academic competency and other 21st century career skills preparation, we work to have our students' business professional ready for the community. We focus on removing obstacles that get in the way of student learning and development of the Individual Graduation and Beyond Plans.
The goal for all students is to prepare them for one of the five next steps in life:
(1) Post Graduate Education
(2) Trade School
(3) Certification or an Apprentice Program
(4) Military
(5) the WorkForce

We follow the mission of the district which is "To inspire and prepare every student to succeed in high school and beyond. Our Board and staff are committed to excellent education through academics, the arts, athletics, and activities. Our students gain the confidence and skills to adapt to their ever-changing world. Together with our families, we develop responsible members of the community."

Through the district's active participation with the Association of California Administrators (ACSA), the principal is able to network with other Educational Options administrators to help bring best practices back to the continuation setting at Pioneer High School. Other professional organizations, along with the resource of the California Department of Education (CDE), provide valuable research and information to the 15% of Educational Options public school students throughout California.
